Brother Corbulo Done

The final character model for the Blood Angels army I'm working on currently. I'm pretty pleased with this chap. The chapter symbol is a decal that's been painted over with Space Wolves Grey before highlighting with Skull White. There is OSL in place from the spotlight, but it's fairly subtle as it mostly hits the back of his head, or white surfaces. As ever you can click the images for a larger view.

Maz away for a week

Just a quick note to say I'm away until the 26th of February. It's wedding anniversary time. Yeesh, this year's gone quick.

Blood Angels Assault Squad (1)

The first of three Assault squads for this army done. I'm fairly pleased with how these have come out. This squad is actually marked up as the 1st squad of the 5th company. I guess they're filling in for an Assault role to make up the numbers.

WIP Blood Angels Assault Squad (1)

Work on the 15 Assault Marines that form the troops section of the army I'm working on right now. These are based on a relatively fast airbrush-and-glaze technique, and should average out once completed to less than 4 hours per mini. Most of this time saving is from the primer - Vallejo's Polyurethane German Red-Brown Primer. It's brilliant stuff.

The middle marine is the test model, and has been pushed a little further on than the others. The red and yellow on him is pretty much where they'll end up on the others.
