Group shot of the Deathwing Army for a client in Germany. This was a fun commission to work on. I like the ash white scheme a lot more than the more usual Bleached Bone look.

Hey this is a stunning army group!
I agree that the ash white colour scheme is much nicer looking than the commonly used bone scheme. Is there any chance of you working up a small tutorial similar to the Sternguard one?
The next tutorial is going to focus on magnetising and fitting Forgeworld parts to the Predator. I have a Deathwing Venerable Dreadnought in the queue, I may be able to squeeze an article out of it. :)
What colors are used to achieve that bone white color? The models look great and I agree, this is much nicer than the milky bone white color often seen (though it can look real good as well).
I worked through several zenital passes of GW dheneb stone up to VMC ivory. Spot washes were then done with GW devlan mud wash, tidying with GW codex grey glazes here and there and highlighting with glazes of VMC ivory.
On the Land Raider a hard preshade of a VMC leather brown was applied over the white primer (using a dual action airbrush - fine spray) and then numerous filter coats of GW deneb stone and VMC ivory mixes, building up to very close to pure VMC ivory. Spot washes with GW devlan mud used for hard shade.
do you use an airbrush for the terminators as well?
Yes, these were airbrushed. The procedure was over a black undercoat, following pretty much the process given in the Sternguard tutorial (see the tutorials tag).
